SAKSHI SINGHANIA

COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGIST

Love and fun are the words which attract me. I think loving and being oneself makes life joyful and also is a one-size-fits-all solution to our concerns. Wondering what the hype is about self-love? Well, I’m exploring it too!

I love exploring and learning – almost anything. I’m curious and enthusiastic, and I love nature.

I have completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Counselling Psychology. I am passionate about and have a knack for understanding people which drove me to pursue psychology. Listening, understanding and awareness are my strengths in this field.

My experience includes providing one on one counselling with various age groups like children, teenagers and middle aged and older adults in various settings.

I am certified with Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) (Practitioner Level). I’ve also completed Post-Graduate Diploma in Psycho-Social Well-Being Using Multi-Arts and Play and 10-day training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

I am a certified Pranic Healer from the World Pranic Healing Foundation, Inc.

MY APPROACH

I work with all age groups using an integrated approach

the focus areas being:

Mind - Body Work

how mind and body effect each other; exploring one’s relationship with food, exercise, meditation

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

how thoughts shape a life; how thoughts, behaviour, emotions affect each other

Mindfulness Based Practices

being in the moment

“Being yourself is the greatest gift you can give the world”, “The solution to every single problem in the world is love”– these are magnificent lines by Anita Moorjani, and I operate with these philosophies. I believe in providing a safe, empathetic and authentic atmosphere to the people I work with and wish to empower people to be their best selves.
